Great food and beverages. Large selection of Thai foods
One of my favorite Thai places in Davis. I almost always go for the bottomless Thai tea and pineapple fried rice. The one disappointing thing about Thai Nakorn is that it will occasionally be closed during posted business hours.***Update: I've graduated beyond 🍍 fried rice to lots of soup, salads and basically the rest of the menu. This is my favorite Thai restaurant outside Thailand, because it's the best one I know of near where I live. They offer regular Thai tea (without milk and sugar) which is exactly what I wanted in my life 😀
Bottomless Thai Tea, good food and good service.
Yum, but not the cheapest for a college town. Also. I got there at 7pm (still kind of early) and they were out of a lot of food. Had to change my order a couple times.
The food is amazing here. The best in town. Wonderful service. Very clean.... no bugs... not saying how I know this either. Lol
Bad service when I went
Exceptional flavors. Delicious yellow curry. Friendly and helpful service.
Pretty fast and simple setup. The selection of thai food is nice and they are generous on the flavor of the dishes here. Fairly affordable, too!
At the moment you come to this restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a lovely place to to go out with buddies or with your date. enjoyable meals, professional chief cook and stuff, competitive cost and attentive service. Warmly recommended.
Good food and prompt service. Oddly enough entrees for the party were brought out separately with 10 min in between, so some people had to wait a while with good in front of them. Other than that, everything was nice.
Tasty and authentic but small portions. Also no rice included.
Great food
Food was nice and reasonably priced also.Just that the check-in was little chaotic, probably because it was the weekend and they weren't prepared to receive so many guests. the staff did a good job overall.Little bit of planning and task management would help run this well
Excellent food, service and reasonable price.
Restaurant is really cute, but wait staff and service leave a lot to be desired. I was happy with the quality of my food, but out of the three of us, one of my friends got her food right away and then my other friend and I were left waiting for way too long.
Excellent service! Very friendly and efficient. I had a house Curry that was delicious.
Delicious!
Thai food was okay. Wife said she actually got better Thai food in Alaska. Ordered coffee, got some sort of iced coffee. Clarified, then got hot coffee that tasted like it was burnt from that morning. Almost drinkable when sugar and cream were added. Best advantage is outside seating which is dog friendly. Nice young man even brought our dog a bowl of water.
Went with a large group and everybody loved the place. Although we went rather late for lunch, the place was welcoming, staff was very attentive and the place is very clean. I had the duck curry and it is not a stretch to say it was the best duck curry I ever had. Everybody's food was very flavorful. The only downside was that we got charged 18% gratuity even though such charges are illegal in California. We would have tipped large anyway 'cause we loved the place. Just don't like being made to.
Fast service. Polite staff and good food. 15$ a plate and up on the dinner menu
Sticky rice with mango is a must try 😍
Decent Thai food and decent price. They present the dish very well. The decor also looks pretty authentic. Their sweet sticky rice and mango is also good. The service is great. I think when I went with a friend, the owner herself was the waitress. She also mentioned that they have another branch in Sacramento. I've haven't been to that one yet. I gave this place a 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 is because there are other Thai place that taste better and cheaper in Davis
Best Thai food I've ever had. They can make almost any dish vegan and make their Thai iced tea with coconut milk... Oh my gosh. After having it with coconut youll never go back to regular again. Also their tofu is crispy and seasoned to perfection. (Dishes are big enough to share between 2 as well)
My favorite Thai restaurant in Davis! During lunch they offer combos so you can get a bit of everything but so far this place had the best curry in town. Not loaded up with random fillers, and they offer unlimited Thai tea. Restrooms are outside of the restaurant next door though. This place is super cozy.
BEST Thai food from Sacramento to Bay Area hands down!!! I don't know how they make their Pad Kee Mao, but it is THE BEST! Noods like no other! :)
This is my favorite Thai place in Davis! I'm surprised it doesn't have higher ratings. The food is incredibly flavorful, tastes very authentic, and comes in big portions. I especially enjoy their curries; rich, creamy, and full of veggies. The people who work here are very friendly and always great me with a big smile when I come to pick up food. Can't wait for the next time I get food from here!
The curry tasted good but there was almost nothing in it - it had maybe one carrot and a few slices of pork. You have to order noodles and rice separately. The service was pretty fast even though there was a sign that said it was particularly busy - i think they leave that up all the time.
The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Tom Kha!
Decent Thai restaurant. Staff was nice, service was quite good. Was very busy when we went.Good larb, good curry, good iced tea, good eggplant. Wouldn't recommend the Pad Thai though.
Delicious!!! And good service.
It would be just ok in Hollywood but it's awesome in Davis. Most of the Thai food here is really bad as exemplified by Sofia Thai. This small place is very acceptable and you would have to drive to Sacramento to find better.
This was really good! I ordered Red Curry with chicken and egg rolls. It lost a star because they charge $1.75 for white rice, it doesn't come with it, which isn't usual and feels weird
The menu here has a lot of different choices, with seafood, meat, and vegetarian options. The service was very fast and nice, we got our food within 20 minutes of ordering, although it wasn't very busy at the time. I would definitely recommend this place for small groups or couples, as the area isn't very large.
It doesn’t have many varieties, but the curry was not bad. 4 stars. 0.5 star deducted bc of the unexpectedly bad rice that costs you $1.5, 1.5 stars deducted bc of the unfriendly & unprofessional manager. Will not recommend.
The duck curry that I tried here was good. I went back again and got the same dish. However, there's this tamarind shrimp dish that I tried that was expensive but taste OK.
Good food, great service!!
Placed a to go order, they said the wait time was 25 minutes, due to a graduation party. When I arrived there were no signs of a party. Unless that party was cleared out that quick, but one can only speculate. My food was not ready for an hour. When I told the woman I needed my food or they could cancel my order the woman said they are cooking it now, I told her to give me a refund. Interesting my food was in a bag ready to go in two minutes.
Wonderful food, staff and the most informative menu I've ever used
Just had dinner here, I think this is my favorite Thai place in Davis but there are so many. Had pad see ew, eggplant and Thom ka all super good. Sometimes they close at weird times in the year and not always easy to see that online, but never have had problem with staff. Place has outdoor and indoor seating. Oh and their pumpkin curry is great too.
The food was great and was a good size plate that makes it worth your money. The environment is nice, pretty chill.
Oh La La. I like the food here. Wish they could extend their cuisine to more vegetarian options tan just tofu in almost everything but still the food and quality is good.
Good food, service and value.
Food is good. Have to use a key and go outside to bathroom. House wine only $3. a glass but have to pay $2.50 for a cup size scoop of brown rice. Service okay but mostly attentive when at end of meal and want you to leave.
Very good thai place in town with thai ice tea refills. But they are usually Not open for lunch anymore except for fridays... Recommend the crab fried rice or duck curry.
I ordered and consumed what is probably the best vegetarian meal I have ever eaten: spicy eggplant, to which I added tofu. I also sampled my spouse's pineapple fried rice (which is chock-full of chicken and prawns) and it was also perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Service is prompt, and outdoor seating in an area far from the noise and bustle of neighboring streets is pleasant. Others have rated this Davis's best Thai restaurant, and I agree wholeheartedly. Highly recommended.
The food was really good, and it's a nice place. The Thai tea was a little too sweet for me, but it was refreshing. The food took about 50 minutes, as it was pretty packed. Service was alright.
I love the salmon curry, but every dish is great. The service is also great. Hope you love it too.
My favorite Thai place in town. Their curry was DELICIOUS. My default order is panang curry and Thai fried rice. They offer a variety of meat choice from chicken, beef to tilapia and mussels. Their Thai iced tea is amazing and FREE REFILL ($3.99)!
Visited our daughter yesterday. She’s never been to this restaurant. Outstanding Thai food with excellent service. The recipe is pretty similar (if not better) to the food we had at Chiang Mai. The owner is very accommodating. Will definitely go back to try other food they offer.
Large portions and good service! The lunch specials are great for the price and the atmosphere is really nice. They have real roses by the tableside!
